The 7 Decisions to Success

If you see yourself as the leader that you are…STOP! See yourself as the leader you can be!

A book I have read a few times now reveals the 7 decisions to becoming successful. The decisions have helped me
everyday in any situation.

This book is “The Traveler”s Gift” written by Andy Andrews.
I strongly recommend that you read this book and any
other book written by Andy Andrew. He’s had an incredible life.

#1. “The Buck Stops Here” – Do not dwell on the past. It’s done. Take responsibility for your actions and future.
#2. “Seek Wisdom” – Never stop learning. Follow leaders. Give back and share what you learn.
#3. “Action” – Control the situation. Inspire others to go forward and they will follow you. You will become a leader.
#4. “I have a Decided Heart” – Passion!! Best way to describe this decision.
#5. “Today, I will be Happy” – Not feeling happy today? Write done everything that you are grateful for and happiness will be yours.
#6. “Forgiveness” – Don’t just forgive others, forgive yourself. Let yourself off the hook! Move forward.
#7. “I will Persist without Exception” – Failure is NOT an option! Do NOT give up! Do not let anything stop you from reaching your goal.

These decisions will never let you down. Always refer back to this list when you ask… “Why me?” You should be asking..”Why not me?” Never again will I blame others for my past, present or future. I am responsible for my own actions and decisions.

I am learning and growing everyday in my life and my internet marketing business. I hope that this enlightens you when making your decisions in your life.

The Rhino in Cow Skin

I’ve heard this incredible story a few times over the years. I’m not sure where it generated from, but I must share it.

This story reminded me of the typical office pool or the rat race in general. People stuck in a rut, doing the same thing everyday. I had a good look at myself and saw that I was meant for a better life style. I found my courage and charged.

Here’s the story….

There’s nothing usual about a herd of cows grazing a fenced in field. Everyday, the same old, same old.

Until, one day, one of the cows happened to see something extraordinary as he was taking a drink of water from the pond located on the field. He saw his reflection. He looked up and the other cows and then back again at the pond. This cow did not see a cow in his reflection. He saw a tough skinned, long horned, powerful Rhino.

His newly found identity had given him courage. He knew that he was different and didn’t belong in this field. He was destine for something better.

He glanced at the fence that was about 100 yards away from where he drank the water, looked around and then, in an instant, began to charge towards the fence that bound the herd of cows to the boring field where they existed as mindless animals.

As he charged, the rest of herd began to shout at him to stop and not to go beyond the fence into the unknown. The Rhino would not listen to his companions and plowed right through the fence. He wasn’t worried about what the others thought of him or facing the unknown. All he could think about was achieving his goal of becoming his true self.

He kept charging through high grass, corn fields and into a forest. This did not even slow him down. The forest was filled with rocks, trees and hills, but he pushed himself as hard as he could. He took on each challenge with wonder and excitement, overcoming them one by one.

Finally, he made it through the obstacles that he faced and found himself in a clearing at the top of hill. He took a moment and looked back at the cow field.

Can you guess what he saw?

Not a herd of cows but a herd of Rhinos bunched at the opening in the fence. Every single on of them was a Rhino dressed in cows’ skin. They too were tough skinned, long horned and powerful. If only they could see themselves as they truly are and make their own path to the clearing on the top of hill, forming an extremely powerful new team.

I’ve seen myself as the Rhino and have broken free from the fenced in field. I’m tackling my obstacles on a daily bases. There will always be challenges. I welcome these because they are what make me even stronger in my internet marketing business and for my team of Rhinos. Our growth is endless.

Find the Rhino in yourself. Discover the courage within you to break free and charge. Take action today.

There is plenty of room at the top of the hill. I’ll save you a spot.

So You Think You Can Succeed in Internet Marketing?

Alright, I’ll admit it. I do watch a little television sometimes. I’m a sucker for reality tv.

One my all time favs is “So You Think You Can Dance”.

Have you ever watched it?

I have a ton respect for the dancers on this show. They are filled with passion, energy, drive, dedication, focus, desire and refuse to let their dreams crumble.

First of all, there’s the auditions. It takes courage to dance in front of an audience. But imagine doing it in front those who judge you. These Judges pick the dancers apart to see if they have what it takes to succeed as a professional dancer.

Now it’s time to go on the stage. The dancer takes a deep breath, feeling his or her heart beating like it’s going to come right of their chest, cold sweats happening and a sudden case of nausea occurs right before they go out there. It’s their opportunity to wow the judges. To control the fear that is taking over their mind and body, they must to alter the conscious mind.

To enable themselves to move forward, they visualize their future as a professional dancer, their dream, and then take that leap to do what they have to do to achieve it.

The stage is where the dancer’s talent shine. Now, each dancer has their own style of dance in which they excel. Take a hip hop dancer, now they are doing ballroom. How about a ballet dancer performing the sizzling salsa dance. My personal favorite is contemporary. These dancers can do anything, in my opinion, because they are open to creative dance and don’t have boundaries.

This applies to internet marketing as well.

As you build your internet marketing business and get yourself out there, remember that you are being watched and judged. Not only for your talents, but for your personality and the value that you have to offer as well. Now, these judges may very well end up being your new team members. So impression the heck of them.

In order to succeed in your internet marketing business, the first thing you must have is a strong “why” you are doing what you do. You must also believe in yourself and have true passion. Always keep your goal in clear vision, stay focused and dedicated.

You too have your own style, but do not be afraid to change your dance now and again. Listen, learn and implement your new found talents. Share your experiences and knowledge, then watch what happens.

The judges may vote you as the next one to really succeed in your internet marketing business.

Dare You to Go Down the Rabbit Hole

I absolutely enjoy watching movies that are filled with hidden hints about making your dreams come true. Such phrases like… “The impossible is possible if you believe”, “You can achieve anything that you set your mind to”, “If you truly believe, it will happen” or “You always have a choice”. These are just a few that I can think of off the top of my head.

Walt Disney was a huge dreamer and believer. If you really think about it, all of his movies are about making dreams come true and becoming the best that you can be.

Take Alice, for example. Look at the adventures that she had after falling down a hole into an extraordinary world that she called Wonderland. Her goal was to get back home, but she had distractions to ignore, battles to fight, obstacles and challenges to overcome first. None of these stopped her from finding her way home. One of the things Alice did to succeed was to think of 6 impossible (so she thought) things that proved to be real and/or true.

Alice had also made great connections, such as The Mad Hatter, Cheshire Cat, Mallymkun (the dormouse), Absolem (the blue caterpillar), The White Rabbit, The White Queen, Tweedidee & Tweedledum, just to name a few. Together they masterminded and everyone become a winner. The Wonderlanders got their world back from The Red Queen and, of course, Alice was able to get back home.

When Alice returned to her world, she implemented the skills, courage, self-confidence and knowledge that she gained during her journey to create a fulfilling life for herself and not do what everyone else expected her to do. That would the called the “norm”. She saw more in herself (her muchness) and didn’t care what the others thought about her decision to live her life the way she chose to live it. Alice was bound for an adventurous life in deed.

I see my continuing journey of my life similar to Alice’s experience. There are many obstacles, challenges, distractions and little battles that I must take head on in order to keep moving forward in my business. Masterminding and surrounding myself with my mentors and others who have or want the same kind of life style is a powerful way to expand myself in my internet marketing and leadership skills required to succeed.

I keep my dream and goal in clear vision and focus so that I don’t loose sight of why I’m doing what I do. I’ve realized that it is now not what I do, but who I actually am.

In the end, just like Alice, I can look back at the phenomenal path that enabled me and my family to have the life style that we deserved.

Now, I dare you to go down the rabbit hole and do the same.

Don’t be a Cop-Out.

Got your attention, didn’t I?
What If I told you there were only four kinds of people in the world?

“Cop-outs” – These are people who don’t have any goals and have very little drive. They just want to remain the same out rut doing nothing different to change their lives or the lives of anyone around them. They probably spend their time watching mindless hours of television. You know the type. Don't be a Copout

“Hold-outs” – These are people who would like to be more, do more and have more, but are afraid. Allowing their fears to control them and never get started with anything. They’re big on hoping and wishing instead of doing.

“Drop-outs” – These are the people who take action and get started, but just never finish. They don’t stay committed and they don’t continue building relationships. They have all the potential, but not the results because they “buy into” their own excuses time and time again. They don’t stay focused or determined and jump to next opportunity that they find, failing again and again, blaming the previous venture. This happens quite a lot with internet marketers.

Finally, the “All-outs” – These are the people that get results. Doesn’t matter what business they’re in, brick and mortar, real estate, insurance or internet marketing. A common characteristic of all “All-outs” if they’re very clear on what they want and find a way to win. They take full responsibility and never point a finger. No excuses, no stories…only solutions.

Which of these four do you think are? Think very carefully about it. In fact, take the time to really watch your actions and be honest with yourself as to whether you are a “Cop-out,” a “Hold-out,” a “Drop-out” or an “All-out”.

Once you know, that’s half the battle. Most of us sleep walk through life and never take the time to analyze themselves. Don’t let it happen to you.

Going for the Gold with Your Internet Marketing Business?

Have you ever wondered how an Olympic athlete wins the Gold? Go for the Gold! Internet Marketing TrainingIt’s not a huge secret but it’s a powerful one.

First of all, it does take years of training and dedication in their chosen sport.
Second, they must be focused and eliminate distractions.
Third, and most important, is the desire and faith.

Of course, these sports are extremely physical but mindset is also important. Without the focus, desire, determination and faith, they are lost and have no chance of winning the bronze, silver and ultimately, the gold.

The winners actually visualize themselves standing on the podium with their country’s flag and national anthem playing in the background. Not everyone understands the true meaning of faith. Described in the dictionary, faith means trust, belief, belief without proof, religion, promise, loyalty, constancy. These descriptions must be embedded into your subconscious mind in order for you to have true faith.

Faith alone doesn’t cut it either. You must also have emotion attached to your faith. Without the emotion, faith can fade away. Napoleon Hill, the author of Think and Grow Rich, states that thoughts which are mixed with any of the feelings or emotions constitute a magnetic force which attracts, from the vibrations of the ether (forces of the universe), other similar or related thoughts.

Have you wanted or believed in something so badly that it was all you could think about? You dreamt, ate, walked, talked about it consistently?
This is what you should be feeling about your Internet Marketing Business.

You must have the faith and emotion in order for your visions to come true. Take a pen a paper and write down these five definite and practical steps.

1. Think of the exact amount of money you desire. Don’t just say to yourself that you want make lots of money. Come up with a fixed amount and write it down.
2. Figure out what you intent to give in return for your riches. This would a product or service. You can’t get something for nothing.
3. Pick a date that you intend to achieve this goal. Without a fixed date in writing, your goal is just a dream and may never be accomplished without a deadline.
4. Lay out a plan to carry out your desire. Start doing things immediately, even if you are ready or not. Start taking action.
5. Read your written statement two or three time a day. Doing so will put these steps into your subconscious mind and your gold will become a reality. Working on your personal development daily is key to your golden success.

Let’s not forget that you must also make sacrifices in your everyday life to get the gold. Just like the champion athletes have scheduled training sessions, get plenty of rest, stay healthy, and cut out all distraction to stay focused.

Only you know what you must cut out to make time to work on your internet marketing business. Get rid of distractions, such and the television and phone. Also, set a definite daily schedule listing your tasks, time to spend on them and stick you it. If you have other distractions in your home, such as family, let them know that you are busy so you can concentrate on your business tasks. If you have pets, lock them out of your office space.

Now you are ready to start implementing your steps and take your internet marketing business to the gold. Get on the podium with Internet Marketing Skill

I’ll be cheering you on when I see you standing on that podium.

Has Your MLM Business Risen Only to Fall Like a Flopped Cake in the Oven?

Does that sound like your story? Your downline team building as you climb the ladder & then the autoshipments stop, your downline is not duplicating your efforts, your sponsors or upline are quitting or pressuring you to order & buy more products to keep them going?

It’s just like watching a delicious cake rising in the oven only to fall flat because of some unknown reason.

MLM is getting more difficult everyday to build a decent income on.

“Work at Home” entrepreneurs are faced with an alarming uphill battle against cut-throat competition, rising advertising costs, and an average customer/distributor retention rate that’s dropped down to an average of less than 3 months.

Building a full-time income, or even a residual income through the networking marketing business model in the internet age is like trying to fill a leaking bucket – with 90% of distributions spending much more money than they’ll ever make.

And, just like you, more and more home business owners are growing tired of dealing with downline attrition and tiny commission checks. They are now turning away from the traditional “MLM” business model, in favor of the increasingly popular G.P.T. structure

I will show you …

- How to use the concept of GPT to make your goals a reality.

- Why residual income through network marketing may not be the “Holy Grail” so many claim that it to be. Find out how to create a REAL residual income that’s completely unaffected by downline attrition and competition.

Don’t Make a New Year’s Resolution…Make it a Revolution!

Well, it’s here….2010! This is the time that the world is making New Year’s resolutions. What is a New Years Resolution?
The problem with doing this is that most of us set the standards too high.
Some goals are truly impossible to reach.

Definition of resolution is resolving, firmness, purpose or thing resolved upon, decision of court, vote or assembly.

Most resolutions are made to loose weight, exercise more, eat healthier or even make more money and become a successful entrepreneur.

All of these are good and profound; however, if the bar is set too high, we find it overwhelming, unreachable and what were good intensions diminish. We begin to have thoughts of our goals being the impossible. We then quit and go back to the way we were, even worse than before sometimes.

Bad habits come back, lying back down on the couch while television becomes our way of life (can’t miss that show, Homer Simpson's failed New Years Resolution
therefore I can’t go for that walk or go to the gym), unhealthy snacks, and we stop focusing on our businesses ending
in other venture that doesn’t work.

What I have done instead of a New Years Resolution is set myself to be a New Years Revolution.

Definition of revolution is great change, complete rotation, turning or spinning around, take over.

I am now a Turn Around Specialist. I am taking action to change my life habits, without setting an unrealistic goal. I am eating healthier, the weight will come off without even thinking about it. I am exercising more, even my dog is getting more out of that, making my muscles, lungs and heart stronger, giving me more energy and preventing diseases. I want to be around for the ones who love me.

Key to a Successful 2010 Even improving the financial and quality of my life are in motion. I am seeking knowledge to what I don’t know. You never know what you don’t know until you find it. Get it? I am focused, determined and I have a decided heart. Nothing is going to stop me from growing into a healthy, happy and successful entrepreneur in my business.

No matter which business you decide to venture into, it can work. You must believe, stay focused, determined, turn off the TV and have passion for what you are doing. With these traits, you are sure to reach your goals. Don’t set the compensation too high and too soon. Anything worthwhile takes time and will also build a strong foundation to develop into your dream life style.

So my challenge to you is to stop setting unrealistic goals, known as resolution, and to turn yourself around and be a revolution. Take back the control of your life today! Your actions will change your life, for the better.

To Your Revolutionary 2010!

How to Appear Successful with Prospects

Oh my….I got lead / prospect. Now what do I do? Do I call? Do I send an email?

These are questions that I get all the time. I strongly suggest not calling your lead / prospect. This can be interpreted as a cold call and you may come across as desperate. Most of the time, the lead is browsing around for internet marketing business opportunities.

If you have branded yourself correctly on the internet, your story and pages will give them an idea of who you are. The more they see and read about you, the more you are successful in their eyes. This would include posting yourself in videos on YouTube, blogging, articles, press releases, social media sites and forums. Just to mention a few. Google your name and see what comes up in the organic listings. You should be ranking on the first page.

They will contact you if they become serious and want to know more about your business opportunity and of course, about you. When this time comes and your lead/prospect phones you, let them go to an answering machine or have your assistant (friend or family member) answer the call on your behalf. If a message is left, your assistant calls them back and sets up an appointment time for you to call them back.

Example conversation: “Hello, my name is Sally Joe, I am Bill Black’s assistance. I understand that you wish to speak with him. Let’s set up a time that works for both you and Bill. His schedule is filled tomorrow, how about the next day? Which is better for you, morning or afternoon?….. He has 2:45 or 4:30 available. This call should only take about 10-15 minutes. 2:45? Alright. Be near your phone at 2:45 as Bill will phone you at that time. He will make one other attempt a few minutes later should you not be reachable. Otherwise, he won’t be available to speak with you until next week.”

Guess what? Your lead / prospect will be at the other of the line when you call. You have come across as an extremely busy and successful leader. They may even sound nervous to speak with you.
During your conversation, listen to what they are saying. Hear their pain, relate to them in some way and give the solution to relieve their pain. Keep the call short (time yourself) as you could get caught up in lengthy life story. That’s not what this call is about.
Now is the time to tell them what to do next….”call to action”. Let them know how to sign up, join, attend a webinar or conference call, which ever is the next step in your lead / prospect becoming a member of your business team.

Congrats!! You have made a sale and are on your way to truly becoming the successful leader that your prospect sees you as.

To Your Abundance & Success!
