Well, it’s here….2010! This is the time that the world is making New Year’s resolutions.
The problem with doing this is that most of us set the standards too high.
Some goals are truly impossible to reach.
Definition of resolution is resolving, firmness, purpose or thing resolved upon, decision of court, vote or assembly.
Most resolutions are made to loose weight, exercise more, eat healthier or even make more money and become a successful entrepreneur.
All of these are good and profound; however, if the bar is set too high, we find it overwhelming, unreachable and what were good intensions diminish. We begin to have thoughts of our goals being the impossible. We then quit and go back to the way we were, even worse than before sometimes.
Bad habits come back, lying back down on the couch while television becomes our way of life (can’t miss that show,
therefore I can’t go for that walk or go to the gym), unhealthy snacks, and we stop focusing on our businesses ending
in other venture that doesn’t work.
What I have done instead of a New Years Resolution is set myself to be a New Years Revolution.
Definition of revolution is great change, complete rotation, turning or spinning around, take over.
I am now a Turn Around Specialist. I am taking action to change my life habits, without setting an unrealistic goal. I am eating healthier, the weight will come off without even thinking about it. I am exercising more, even my dog is getting more out of that, making my muscles, lungs and heart stronger, giving me more energy and preventing diseases. I want to be around for the ones who love me.
Even improving the financial and quality of my life are in motion. I am seeking knowledge to what I don’t know. You never know what you don’t know until you find it. Get it? I am focused, determined and I have a decided heart. Nothing is going to stop me from growing into a healthy, happy and successful entrepreneur in my business.
No matter which business you decide to venture into, it can work. You must believe, stay focused, determined, turn off the TV and have passion for what you are doing. With these traits, you are sure to reach your goals. Don’t set the compensation too high and too soon. Anything worthwhile takes time and will also build a strong foundation to develop into your dream life style.
So my challenge to you is to stop setting unrealistic goals, known as resolution, and to turn yourself around and be a revolution. Take back the control of your life today! Your actions will change your life, for the better.
To Your Revolutionary 2010!

Oh my….I got lead / prospect. Now what do I do? Do I call? Do I send an email?
These are questions that I get all the time. I strongly suggest not calling your lead / prospect. This can be interpreted as a cold call and you may come across as desperate. Most of the time, the lead is browsing around for internet marketing business opportunities.
If you have branded yourself correctly on the internet, your story and pages will give them an idea of who you are. The more they see and read about you, the more you are successful in their eyes. This would include posting yourself in videos on YouTube, blogging, articles, press releases, social media sites and forums. Just to mention a few. Google your name and see what comes up in the organic listings. You should be ranking on the first page.
They will contact you if they become serious and want to know more about your business opportunity and of course, about you. When this time comes and your lead/prospect phones you, let them go to an answering machine or have your assistant (friend or family member) answer the call on your behalf. If a message is left, your assistant calls them back and sets up an appointment time for you to call them back.
Example conversation: “Hello, my name is Sally Joe, I am Bill Black’s assistance. I understand that you wish to speak with him. Let’s set up a time that works for both you and Bill. His schedule is filled tomorrow, how about the next day? Which is better for you, morning or afternoon?….. He has 2:45 or 4:30 available. This call should only take about 10-15 minutes. 2:45? Alright. Be near your phone at 2:45 as Bill will phone you at that time. He will make one other attempt a few minutes later should you not be reachable. Otherwise, he won’t be available to speak with you until next week.”
Guess what? Your lead / prospect will be at the other of the line when you call. You have come across as an extremely busy and successful leader. They may even sound nervous to speak with you.
During your conversation, listen to what they are saying. Hear their pain, relate to them in some way and give the solution to relieve their pain. Keep the call short (time yourself) as you could get caught up in lengthy life story. That’s not what this call is about.
Now is the time to tell them what to do next….”call to action”. Let them know how to sign up, join, attend a webinar or conference call, which ever is the next step in your lead / prospect becoming a member of your business team.
Congrats!! You have made a sale and are on your way to truly becoming the successful leader that your prospect sees you as.
To Your Abundance & Success!

That’s right, today is April 1st, 2010
and I am making $25,000 a month!
My husband and I have both quit our dead end jobs and are living a life style that most just dream about.
This is how I did it….
#1 – I stopped procrastinating and began to take action.
#2 – I found a true mentor with success and followed everything that they had done to become successful.
#3 – I read books, listened to audio recording, attended training calls & webinars and sponged up anything and everything to educate myself. Then I took action and implemented all that knowledge into a striving, successful business for myself.
#4 – I believed in myself.
#5 – I became a member of a mastermind group with people of the same mindset and who could teach me more…of everything.
You can be having the same conversation and telling your incredible testimony. Go now and get a pen and paper. I’ll wait here for you.
You’re back…good. Now follow the same steps as written above with your own affirmation.
See yourself in future and speak today as if the future was today. Give yourself a date, set your goal and put down a number of steps describing how you got “here”. As though someone was asking you…”Wow! How did you do that?”
Read this to yourself 2-3 times a day. The steps that you have written down that got you to where you are will fall into place, because these are the action steps you took to become the success that you are today (April 1st).
Get it…?
Live today like a leader! You are successful! Your dreams are becoming a reality! You have created a better a life style for you and your family!
Look in the mirror. What do you see?
You see a leader! The King/Queen of the jungle!

Stop the Merry-Go-Round and Let Me Off!
Are you leaving home in the dark only to return in the dark just to bring home that pay check? Not being there for your family? I mean, really being there, not just providing.
Perhaps you’re living pay check to pay check with too much month left over after the money is gone. Creditors calling and asking for money. You then pay one card just to borrow that payment back to pay another….balances surely don’t go down that way.
Or maybe you like to travel, but always say to yourself “Someday” or “Next Year”. Either you don’t have the funds at the moment or you can’t get the time off from the J.O.B.
How about that classic car, motorcycle, boat or cottage you’ve always wanted, but can only look at it through the glass window of the showroom or in a brochure.
Please. let me off this merry-go-round! Round and round and round we go. The same things day in and day out. It’s a vicious circle. It’s not even slowing down so that you can jump off.
I understand everything that I’ve just said because I’ve been there and done that.
Missed out on family fun. Traveling to and from the JOB in the dark. Daytime spent inside a stuffy office staring at a computer and a wall. I got to know every crack in that wall after 20 years. I wanted more out of life, so I pretended that I could pay for the material things that I thought I needed. Guess what happened….maxed out credit cards. Then borrowing from Peter to pay Paul…so to say. Waiting for a raise from the boss at the job so I could have more, But, then more taxes came off my check so that meant no extra cash. This was a lose, lose situation. I felt like I was continuously banging my head against the wall but not knocking any sense into it.
I had to do something to stop this merry-go-round. A thought crept came to my head, I guess from banging it so much. I started to walk in the opposite direction that the merry-go-round was spinning in. Everyone else on it was tugging at me to stop and turn back around, but I kept going in other direction. I began to see things in a different light. New visions were coming in my mind and I began to walk faster.
I then stumbled onto the incredible world of internet marketing. Imagine working from home with your own successful home based business! I was on my way to finding a new path that was filled with light and wonder.
My first venture was with a health and wellness MLM business. I truly still believe in the products and the company, however, I felt as though I was babysitting adult children. Building a downline large enough to keep my path lit was next to impossible for a newbie like me. Without the proper guidance and training the lights go dim and sometimes go out for good. But I am determined to follow my path and keep it bright. I knew that there had to better way to continue my journey and that would be something we all need to keep ourselves growing.
I began to research and follow successful people with a strong torch to keep their path bright and clear. There must be something that these people are doing right. Then I realized what that was. It was knowledge. Education is the key to success in anything that one chooses. There are many internet marketing companies out there that promise a get rich quick trick, but that’s exactly what is. A trick to get your money. Another word for these tricks is scams. Beware, if sounds to good to be true, it usually is.
During my studies of these successful entrepreneurs, everything began to change for me. I found a way to stop the merry-go-around, jump off and enable myself to head straight down my path with a well lit torch and plenty of fuel to keep it burning the rest of my life. I found a system that works! A real top tier direct sales internet marketing business that is unique, genuine, has a proven system that actually has up to date, on going, professional training and support from the same people that I was studying. Imagine, I am working with the people that I envied.
My path will have many turns and obstacles along the way, but nothing is stopping me now. I am living a life of new challenges and excitement everyday. My family time is now quality time. I see the day light while standing outside, not through an office window. I am traveling more and my debt is taming down. I don’t have that car I want yet, but that’s just around the next bend of my path.
If you are looking to jump off that merry-go-round, do it. Just do it now. Don’t wait for it slow to down or be safe to jump. Take the leap today and light your own path.
I am reaching my hand out to you. Grab it and I will show you how to get started by introducing you to a phenomenal system that
will enable you to keep your torch lit.

When do most of us take action or start to live? It’s when we face death. Do or die situations. Life is precious and we seem to recognize that when tragedy hits. “I’m going to enjoy all the things that I haven’t given myself time to do.” “I’m going to live life to it’s fullest.” “I’m going to be kind to everyone and forgive my enemies.” “I’m going to reach my goal!”
WAKE-UP! Live NOW! Do those things NOW! Be kind and forgive others and yourself NOW! Do what it takes to reach that goal as an entrepreneur in a home based business NOW! DO or DIE!
It’s time to burn the bridges that got you HERE! Don’t look or go back. Go Forward! Take ACTION! Listen, Learn, Share and Implement from those who have the success that you are seeking. Follow their system, trust their system and others will follow and trust YOU! Contact me and I’ll introduce you to a real business model where you will receive these values.
Cut the ties that bind you. Surround yourself with like-minded people. Set a date for your goal to be reached and stick to it. If your goal is to fire your boss, for example, write your letter of resignation, with integrity, and date it. Give to someone that will hand deliver the sealed envelope to your boss on the date you have written. No turning back now! Then, do you think you would do everything to reach that goal? DO or DIE!
You must have PASSION and LOVE for your goal. Without the passion or love, it’s just a DREAM. You may miss your mark at first, but Do NOT give up. We are what we think about. If we fear or think FAILURE, that is where we are headed. Think success, happiness, health….whatever you “want” in your life. DO NOT think about what you DON’T want. The universe hears what you are concentrating about.
What will it take for YOU to reach YOUR goal? So get up off your behind and burn those bridges! TAKE ACTION! NOW!

Social Media is a great platform to meet and greet prospects to your network marketing business. Facebook is one of the top social media sites today.
People can get to know who you are and vise versa. You want to attract like minded people to your Facebook account. As well as branding yourself, you will be surrounding yourself with others that have the success that you want.
To set up an account, go to: http://www.facebook.com
1. Set up your profile by adding your personal information, pictures, links to websites, etc.
2. Once you are happy with the appearance, go to Find Friends tab and search for people that have the same interests as you. For example, business, socializing, entrepreneurs, networking, etc.
3. Send a request to add them as a friend. This is a good time to introduce yourself a little and give a good first impression by adding a personal message to your invitation. Don’t copy and paste your messages or do this too quickly as Facebook will take that as spam and give you a warning. I believe that you can add approximately 50 friends a day. Do that.
4. Search for Groups on Facebook. There are thousands of groups out there. Join the ones that interest you.
5. Create your own group and invite your new friends to join. Be sure that you always offer value to your group with the something will help others.
Now you are ready to start socializing and networking. Do Not plug your business while conversing with your friends. Let your new friends get to who you are. Find something in common to talk about and let it take its course.
Always, always bring value to others. If you have helped someone in anyway, then you have succeeded in creating a quality friend.
Okay, so get out there, make friends and have fun!
To Your Success.

It’s true. The mortality rates decline when job losses increase and the economy takes a downturn. Contrary to what one would probably think is that physical or mental health would become worse leading to death by poor health or suicide as the jobs disappear and the economy crashes, per say.
Studies over the past 9 years have shown that mortally goes up with economic highs and goes down with contractions and not the opposite as one would expect.
In this writers option, I believe that when things get tough, our mindset changes. The focus shifts to the important things in life. Such as family, relationships, health and living for today.
When the economy is booming, the focus is on deadlines, commuting, bosses, co-workers, clock watching to the end of the work day, stressing
about what needs to be done inside and outside of the work place. The worry is on stuff. Stuff that really it’s important. Stress levels increase therefore causing high blood pressure, high cholesterol (from not having good eating habits), substance addiction, depression, strokes, heart attacks and in some cases death.
At times when there is a decrease in the economy and the focus is on the important elements in life, the stress level goes down. Family becomes whole again. There is time to look after our health with proper diet and exercise, which lowers cholesterol and blood pressure. People help the community they live in and in return the community gives back. Substance abuse is replaced by spirituality, whether that be God or some other higher power from within. Depression becomes happiness and sense of wellbeing. Overall better health and wellness decreases the chances of stroke and heart attacks lower the death rate.
Life is a gift and worth living to the fullest. We should always keep a positive mindset no matter what is thrown our way. This will enable us to live happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.
To Your Good Health and Happiness!

This is not my story, but I just had to share this one………
Would you have made the same choice?
—————————————————————————————————————————-
“At a fundraising dinner for a school that serves children with learning disabilities, the father of one of the students delivered a speech that would never be forgotten by all who attended. After extolling the school and its dedicated staff, he offered a question: ‘When not interfered with by outside influences, everything nature does, is done with perfection.
Yet my son, Shay, cannot learn things as other children do. He cannot understand things as other children do.
Where is the natural order of things in my son?’
The audience was stilled by the query.
The father continued. ‘I believe that when a child like Shay, who was mentally and physically disabled comes into the world, an opportunity to realize true human nature presents itself, and it comes in the way other people treat that child.’
Then he told the following story:
Shay and I had walked past a park where some boys Shay knew were playing baseball. Shay asked, ‘Do you think they’ll let me play?’ I knew that
most of the boys would not want someone like Shay on their team, but as a father I also understood that if my son were allowed to play, it would give him a much-needed sense of belonging and some confidence to be accepted by others in spite of his handicaps.
I approached one of the boys on the field and asked (not expecting much) if Shay could play. The boy looked around for guidance and said, ‘We’re losing by six runs and the game is in the eighth inning. I guess he can be on our team and we’ll try to put him in to bat in the ninth inning.’
Shay struggled over to the team’s bench and, with a broad smile, put on a team shirt. I watched with a small tear in my eye and warmth in my heart. The boys saw my joy at my son being accepted.
In the bottom of the eighth inning, Shay’s team scored a few runs but was still behind by three.
In the top of the ninth inning, Shay put on a glove and played in the right field. Even though no hits came his way, he was obviously ecstatic just to be in the game and on the field, grinning from ear to ear as I waved to him from the stands.
In the bottom of the ninth inning, Shay’s team scored again. Now, with two outs and the bases loaded, the potential winning run was on base and
Shay was scheduled to be next at bat.
At this juncture, do they let Shay bat and give away their chance to win the game?
Surprisingly, Shay was given the bat. Everyone knew that a hit was all but impossible because Shay didn’t even know how to hold the bat properly, much less connect with the ball.
However, as Shay stepped up to the plate, the pitcher, recognizing that the other team was putting winning aside for this moment in Shay’s life, moved in a few steps to lob the ball in softly so Shay could at least make contact.
The first pitch came and Shay swung clumsily and missed.
The pitcher again took a few steps forward to toss the ball softly towards Shay.
As the pitch came in, Shay swung at the ball and hit a slow ground ball right back to the pitcher. The game would now be over.
The pitcher picked up the soft grounder and could have easily thrown the ball to the first baseman. Shay would have been out and that would have been the end of the game.
Instead, the pitcher threw the ball right over the first baseman’s head, out of reach of all team mates.
Everyone from the stands and both teams started yelling, ‘Shay, run to first! Run to first!’
Never in his life had Shay ever run that far, but he made it to first base..He scampered down the baseline, wide-eyed and startled.
Everyone yelled, ‘Run to second, run to second!’
Catching his breath, Shay awkwardly ran towards second, gleaming and struggling to make it to the base.
By the time Shay rounded towards second base, the right fielder had the ball. The smallest guy on their team who now had his first chance to be the hero for his team.
He could have thrown the ball to the second-baseman for the tag, but he understood the pitcher’s intentions so he, too, intentionally threw the ball high and far over the third-baseman’s head.
Shay ran toward third base deliriously as the runners ahead of him circled the bases toward home.
All were screaming, ‘Shay, Shay, Shay, all the Way Shay’
Shay reached third base because the opposing shortstop ran to help him by turning him in the direction of third base, and shouted, ‘Run to third!
Shay, run to third!’
As Shay rounded third, the boys from both teams, and the spectators, were on their feet screaming, ‘Shay, run home! Run home!’
Shay ran to home, stepped on the plate, and was cheered as the hero who hit the grand slam and won the game for his team
‘That day’, said the father softly with tears now rolling down his face, ‘the boys20from both teams helped bring a piece of true love and humanity into this world’.
Shay didn’t make it to another summer. He died that winter, having never forgotten being the hero and making me so happy, and coming home and seeing his Mother tearfully embrace her little hero of the day!
May your day, be a Shay Day.”
——————————————————————————————————————————-
We all have thousands of opportunities every single day to help realize the ‘natural order of things.’
So many seemingly trivial interactions between two people present us with a choice:
Do we pass along a little spark of love and humanity or do we pass up those opportunities and leave the world a little bit colder in the process?
A wise man once said “Every society is judged by how it treats it’s least fortunate amongst them.”
I do not know who the author is, but thank you Shay’s father for sharing.

News Flash: Ottawa – The Bank of Canada said the country’s recovery from recession is becoming more entrenched, but Canadians shouldn’t expect the economy to return to normal for some time.
